Best Women's Watches Under ₹15,000 in India (2026 Edition)

Best Women's Watches Under ₹15,000 in India (2026 Edition)

Buying through our links supports The Wrist Journal at no extra cost to you. Learn more.

We have spent quite a bit of time finding watches under ₹5,000, under ₹10,000 and, more recently, under ₹20,000. This time, we are looking at the part of the watch counter that usually gets described with some combination of “elegant,” “timeless” and “perfect for her.” Which tells you approximately nothing about the watch. There are some lovely options here, from tiny gold digitals and proper sports watches to dials that deserve much better product photographs.

Before we start, all watches can be worn by anyone. We have said this before and will happily keep saying it. These are mostly watches brands put in their women’s collections, alongside a few that fit the brief particularly well. There is no reason to avoid something because the website has filed it under the wrong gender. Pay more attention to the size, strap fit and whether you actually like looking at it. Your wrist has not read the marketing material.

The picks below run from cheapest to most expensive, with two clearly marked options just above ₹15,000 at the end. This is a researched buying guide built around our shortlist and design preferences, rather than a claim that we have worn every watch here. Prices marked shortlisted offer are the deals used to build the list, not guaranteed current checkout prices; MRP means the brand’s listed price. Offers and stock change, and some Casios are easier to find at an offline counter. We have checked offline availability while putting the shortlist together, but call your local store before making the trip.

1. Burgundy on a Budget

Timex TWTL121SMU02 | ₹1,747 shortlisted offer

Timex TWTL121SMU02 with burgundy dial and rose-gold-tone bracelet

The essentials: 34mm brass case, mineral glass, steel bracelet, battery-powered three-hand display, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

This is a very good colour combination for very little money. The burgundy dial gives the rose-gold finish something rich to sit against, and the partial Roman numerals make the face more interesting than a plain circle with twelve sticks on it. It looks dressy without being reserved for weddings, which is useful if this will be your only watch for a while. At 34mm, there is also enough dial to enjoy the colour without going into oversized territory. The case is brass, so do not confuse the metallic finish with an all-steel construction. We like this particularly at the shortlisted price; Timex’s own listing has been higher, so compare the exact reference before buying.

2. The F-91W, With a Softer Side

Casio F-91WS-7A3 | ₹1,995 MRP

Casio F-91WS-7A3 with transparent strap and rose-gold face

The essentials: 35.2mm case width, 21g, resin case and strap, stopwatch, alarm, LED light, approximately seven-year battery life. Specifications.

The F-91W keeps finding its way into our lists because it keeps making sense. This version swaps the familiar black look for a transparent strap and a rose-gold face with pinkish details, and the difference is surprisingly big. It feels lighter visually, looks lovely alongside bracelets, and still has the straightforward digital display that makes the original so easy to live with. You can save money with the regular black version, but this is the one we would choose for the colour combination. Just remember that the metallic finish sits over resin, and Casio gives it basic water resistance. The swimming watches arrive later in the list.

3. The Unusual Little Rectangle

Casio LF-10WH-2 | ₹2,095 MRP

Casio LF-10WH-2 with tall rectangular case and blue strap

The essentials: 40.8mm long, 24.1mm wide, 18g, resin case, bio-based resin strap, approximately two-year battery life.

This is one of the more unusual Casios here. The tall, narrow rectangle almost looks like a fitness band, except it has absolutely no interest in telling you that you have not moved enough today. The blue colour and long shape give it a playful look, and at just 18g it should appeal to anyone who dislikes the weight of a metal bracelet. It is worth trying if you want something with more length across the wrist, though the narrow width means it is not automatically a large-wrist-only watch. Our availability check was at offline stores, so the link goes to Casio’s product page rather than a confirmed online seller.

4. Brown Leather, White Dial, Done

Casio LTP-V005L-7B3 | ₹2,195 MRP

Casio LTP-V005L-7B3 with white dial and brown leather strap

The essentials: 28.2mm case width, 7.5mm thickness, leather strap, mineral glass, quartz movement.

There is a lot to be said for getting the basics right. A clean white dial, brown leather and warm rose-gold-coloured details make this an easy watch to wear to work, college or dinner without planning the rest of your outfit around it. The Roman numerals at twelve and six give the dial a little character without crowding it, and the modest size is part of the appeal. This looks like a small dress watch because it is one. It is also only 24g, which is a useful alternative to the heavier bracelet options. Buy it if you want something simple and considered, and keep the leather away from regular soaking.

5. The Watch That Goes With Bangles

Timex Fria TWEL18200 | ₹2,247 shortlisted offer

Timex Fria TWEL18200 with off-white dial and decorative gold-tone bracelet

The essentials: 28mm brass case, mineral glass, battery-powered analog display, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

The Fria is for someone who wants their watch to sit comfortably among their jewellery. The off-white dial is a good choice here because it lets the gold-tone bracelet do more of the work, rather than adding another strong colour to an already decorative design. We can easily see this with a kurta, saree or a couple of bangles, although it would work just as well with a plain shirt. The small 28mm case keeps the whole thing delicate. This is a design-led recommendation, with a basic quartz watch underneath, and there is nothing wrong with that at this price. For comparison, Timex’s listed offer during research was ₹2,697.

6. A Small Rectangle for the Office

Casio LTP-V007L-1BUDF | ₹2,495 MRP

Casio LTP-V007L-1BUDF with black rectangular dial and leather strap

The essentials: Compact rectangular case, black dial, Roman numerals, leather strap, quartz movement. Official model page.

If your idea of a nice watch is something small, neat and slightly old-fashioned, start here. The rectangular case and Roman numerals give it that familiar Tank-style dress-watch look, while the black dial and matching leather strap keep it restrained. This would be a particularly easy office watch, with enough personality to look intentional and very little to clash with your clothes. The proportions matter more than the reference photograph suggests, so try one if you can: it is deliberately petite. We would choose this over a larger round watch if the aim is a delicate, formal look. Sometimes the inexpensive option already does exactly what you wanted.

7. A Larger Dial Without the Bulk

Timex Transcend TW2V04900AP | ₹2,947 shortlisted offer

Timex Transcend TW2V04900AP with white dial and blue leather strap

The essentials: 38mm case, 6.5mm thickness, white sunray dial, blue leather strap, crystal-set markers. Specifications.

Not everyone wants a tiny dial, and this is a nice way to go larger without buying something chunky. The white sunray face, polished gold-tone case and blue strap make a clean combination. At 38mm, it is one of the broader dressy options here, but the slim case should make it easier to fit under a sleeve. The strap colour is what makes it for us. Black would have been predictable, while the blue makes the whole thing feel a little fresher. Worth considering for work if you like a watch with visible wrist presence and a fairly quiet design.

8. A Tiny Gold Digital

Casio LA670WGA-1 | ₹3,195 shortlisted offer

Casio LA670WGA-1 with gold-tone bracelet and black digital face

The essentials: 24.6mm case width, resin case, steel bracelet, alarm, stopwatch and preset countdown timer. Current Casio MRP: ₹3,995. Specifications.

This is a very different sort of gold watch. The tiny digital display and black face make it feel retro rather than ceremonial, and the narrow bracelet lets it work almost like a small accessory alongside the rest of your jewellery. It is only 27.8g, too, so the gold finish does not come with a large lump of metal attached. The alarm and countdown timer are genuinely useful extras, even if most people will buy it because it looks good. We particularly like it with simple casual clothes, where that little flash of gold has room to stand out. Check the offer before ordering, since the price in our shortlist is below Casio’s current MRP.

9. The Curved Case Makes It

Casio LTP-1165A-1C2 | ₹3,295 MRP

Casio LTP-1165A-1C2 with black dial and curved rectangular steel-tone case

The essentials: 32.6 × 21 × 7.8mm case, steel bracelet, curved mineral glass, quartz movement.

This is a lovely alternative to the straight-sided rectangle above. The case has gently curved sides, somewhere between a rectangle and a tonneau, and that softness suits the bracelet particularly well. The black dial is sparse, with decorative details at twelve and six providing just enough interest. It looks more like a little piece of jewellery than a watch trying to fit twelve separate features onto your wrist. At 21mm wide it is properly small, although the bracelet gives it more weight than the leather-strapped Casios. We would shortlist this for someone who likes unusual case shapes but still wants a watch that can be worn without much thought every morning.

10. Pink, With a Proper Jewellery Bracelet

Timex Fria TWEL23800 | ₹3,295 listed price

Timex Fria TWEL23800 with pink dial and decorative linked bracelet

The essentials: 30mm round case, pink dial, quartz movement, decorative bracelet. Retailer details.

The bracelet is as much the point as the watch on this one. The decorative links, pink dial and sparkling details make it a dainty option for someone who does not want the usual sports-watch bracelet with a few millimetres shaved off. We like that the colour stays soft enough to work with other jewellery, while the dial still gives you something to look at on its own. It would be an easy pick for dressier occasions, especially if you would otherwise reach for a bracelet rather than a watch. This is one to buy for the overall design, and to try for fit if possible, because jewellery-style bracelets can sit quite differently from conventional links.

11. The Oval With the Interesting Band

Timex TW2U12000UJ | ₹3,497 shortlisted offer

Timex TW2U12000UJ with oval silver-tone dial and gold-tone crisscross band

The essentials: 21mm oval brass case, silver-tone dial, mineral glass, gold-tone steel expansion band, quartz movement. Specifications.

An oval case is already a welcome change, but the crisscross band is what makes this Timex worth a closer look. It has the appearance of a decorative bangle, with a small silver-tone dial tucked into the middle of all that gold. The colour contrast helps the face remain distinct instead of disappearing into the bracelet, and the narrow proportions make it quite different from most watches in the list. We would pick this for someone who prefers small jewellery and does not enjoy a broad case covering their wrist. Try the expansion band before committing if possible; its fit is a bigger part of the decision than another millimetre of case diameter.

12. Pink Can Go to the Gym Too

Timex Ironman Transit TW5M35000AS | ₹3,597 shortlisted offer

Timex Ironman Transit TW5M35000AS with pink case and strap

The essentials: 33mm resin case, digital display, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, Indiglo illumination, 100m water resistance. Timex India’s listed price during research: ₹5,995.

Here is the practical sports option before we reach G-Shock money. The pink case and strap with a rose-gold-tone ring look cheerful, but underneath you get the things you actually need for a workout: a stopwatch, a timer and a readable digital display. Indiglo is useful when the lighting is poor, and the 100m rating is a substantial step up from the dress watches around it. It will not count your steps or congratulate you for standing up, which might be part of the appeal. We like it for the gym, running or a busy day when you want something light and useful. The shortlist discount matters, so check whether it is still available.

13. The Green Dial With Plenty Going On

Timex Fria TWEL14303 | ₹3,847 shortlisted offer

Timex Fria TWEL14303 with textured teal-green dial and rose-gold-tone bracelet

The essentials: Approximately 35mm brass case, textured green dial, mineral glass, brass bracelet, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

The mandala-like pattern on the dial is the attraction here. The green leans towards teal, and the warm rose-gold finish gives it a pleasing contrast, with the sparkling details making the whole thing quite decorative. It is the sort of design we would wear with something relatively simple so the watch can have its moment. Despite the delicate styling, the case is around 35mm, so do not expect a tiny bracelet watch. That extra dial space is useful for showing off the pattern, though. This would be our choice over the plainer Fria models if the dial matters more to you than having something that disappears into the rest of an outfit.

14. Three Subdials, Plenty of Blue

Casio LTP-V300D-2A | ₹3,995 MRP

Casio LTP-V300D-2A with blue dial and day, date and 24-hour subdials

The essentials: 33.2mm case width, mineral glass, steel bracelet, quartz movement with day, date and 24-hour displays.

Some people like a clean dial. Others would quite reasonably ask what happened to the rest of it. This is for the second group. The three subdials fill the blue face nicely, giving it a busier, sportier appearance than the little dress Casios without making the watch particularly large. There is an important distinction here: those displays show the day, date and 24-hour time. This is a multifunction watch, even if a retailer calls it a chronograph. We like the balance of the detailed dial and simple steel bracelet, especially for someone who wants an everyday watch with a bit more visual activity. The official reference is LTP-V300D-2A, matching Indian code A1147.

15. The Fria We Would Buy for the Blue

Timex Fria TWEL23901 | ₹3,995 shortlisted offer

Timex Fria TWEL23901 with textured blue dial and rose-gold-tone bracelet

The essentials: 34mm brass case, 7.2mm thickness, mineral glass, quartz movement, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

The textured blue dial is lovely, and it is the reason this one made the list. There is enough contrast against the rose-gold case to make the colour stand out, while the decoration gives it more interest than a plain blue face. The bracelet will be the dividing point. It is quite ornamental, and we can see someone loving the dial while wishing it came on something simpler. That is worth thinking about before buying, because the whole watch needs to work for you. If the bracelet is your sort of thing, this is a good dressy option at around ₹4,000, with a reasonably slim case that should be less cumbersome than the photographs might suggest.

16. Gold Mesh and a Little Sparkle

Timex TW2V52200UJ | ₹4,247 shortlisted offer

Timex TW2V52200UJ with patterned gold-tone dial and mesh bracelet

The essentials: 34mm brass case, 6.5mm thickness, mineral glass, steel mesh bracelet, quartz movement, 50m water resistance. Specifications.

The mesh bracelet changes the feel of this Timex quite a bit. It gives the watch a finer texture than chunky links would, which works well with the patterned dial and the sparkling border around the case. The whole thing is very gold, so we would lean into that and pair it with warm-toned jewellery or traditional clothes rather than expecting it to be invisible. It is also usefully thin at 6.5mm, something that matters more when you are wearing it for a long evening than it does when comparing product photographs. A good pick if you like the decorative Fria options but would prefer a more conventional round watch on mesh.

17. Mother of Pearl Does the Heavy Lifting

Casio LTP-1302DS-2AV | ₹4,995 MRP

Casio LTP-1302DS-2AV with blue mother-of-pearl dial and steel bracelet

The essentials: 30.2mm case width, mother-of-pearl dial, date display, mineral glass, steel bracelet, 50m water resistance. Specifications.

This would be one of our first stops with ₹5,000 to spend. The overall design is familiar, but the mother-of-pearl dial gives it a shifting colour and texture that makes it far more interesting than another flat blue face. It is a nice example of a relatively small change doing a lot for a watch. The fluted bezel adds some detail around the edge, and the 30.2mm width keeps it neatly proportioned. Casio also points out that the natural dial material varies between examples, so yours may not look identical to the photograph. We like that. A date window and 50m rating make it a convincing everyday choice as well as a pretty one.

18. The Little Gold Tonneau

Timex Milano TW2R70000UJ | ₹4,997 shortlisted offer

Timex Milano TW2R70000UJ with gold-tone tonneau case and bracelet

The essentials: 24mm brass case, mineral glass, quartz movement, jewellery clasp, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

The Milano is one of the strongest jewellery-style designs in this shortlist. The tonneau case has a gentle curve to it, the bracelet follows the same warm gold finish, and the sparse dial with four sparkling markers avoids competing with the shape. It looks considered as a complete object rather than a round watch attached to a decorative strap. We particularly like the compact width, which helps keep all that gold from becoming overwhelming. This is an easy recommendation on looks at the shortlisted price, though it remains a brass watch with mineral glass. Timex’s own offer was higher during research, so it is worth comparing sellers before paying for the first one you find.

19. A Small Watch With Better Angles

Timex Trendline TWEL26902 | ₹5,295 shortlisted price

Timex Trendline TWEL26902 with teal dial and gold-tone octagonal case

The essentials: 26mm octagonal brass case, teal dial, mineral glass, steel bracelet, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

The angled case is the reason to stop scrolling. It has some of the dressy appeal of a small rectangular watch, but the clipped corners give it a different outline, and the teal dial against gold is a very handsome combination. Timex calls this one octagonal, so there are eight sides to appreciate if you have exhausted the usual ways of looking at a watch. At 26mm, it stays compact enough for the shape to feel elegant rather than bulky. We would consider this alongside the Milano: that one is softer and more jewellery-like, while this has a little more structure. Both make a good argument for looking beyond round cases.

20. The One You Can Actually Read

Timex Easy Reader T2H371UJ | ₹5,629 shortlisted offer

Timex Easy Reader T2H371UJ with white dial and silver-tone bracelet

The essentials: 25mm brass case, white dial, mineral glass, steel band, quartz movement, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

After all the patterned dials and decorative markers, there is something refreshing about a watch that puts reading the time first. The Easy Reader has a clear white dial, proper numerals and a compact case, with a silver-tone band that keeps the appearance fairly neutral. It would make sense for someone who wants a small everyday watch and has no interest in deciphering where the hands are among twenty decorative stones. Just do not confuse a readable layout with a large display: 25mm is still small, so check it in person if legibility is your main priority. It costs more than some prettier options here, but that plainness may be exactly what you want.

21. Sapphire in a Small Steel Watch

Addies AW25908 | Around ₹6,636 shortlisted price

Addies AW25908 with green sunburst dial and steel bracelet

The essentials: 31mm 316L steel case, 38.5mm lug to lug, 8.4mm thickness, Japanese 2035 quartz movement, sapphire crystal, steel bracelet, 50m water resistance.

This is the one to investigate if you want a smaller watch with a stronger specification sheet. A green sunburst dial, steel case and bracelet make an appealing everyday combination, and sapphire is a welcome addition around this price. The proportions look sensible on paper too, with a relatively short 38.5mm length and an 8.4mm thickness. The catch is the buying experience: this is an India-warehouse listing on Addiesdive’s own site, rather than a watch you can assume will be waiting at your nearest mall. Confirm the selected colour, stock, final rupee total and warranty arrangements before ordering. The page served a dollar price during research, so the shortlist’s rupee figure should be treated as approximate.

22. The Legacy That Looks Ready for a Holiday

Timex Legacy #tide TW2Y04700UJ | ₹7,696 shortlisted offer

Timex Legacy #tide TW2Y04700UJ with green case, bracelet and wave-pattern dial

The essentials: 37mm case, #tide recycled-plastic case and bracelet, mineral glass, quartz movement, luminous hands and markers, 30m water resistance. Specifications.

This is much more playful than the usual steel Legacy. The wave-pattern dial and coloured case give it a casual, holiday-watch appearance, and the #tide material uses plastic recovered from ocean-bound waste. Timex lists this exact reference as green, so check the model number if a seller photograph makes it look blue. We like it for someone who actively wants colour on their wrist, rather than a tiny accent you need to point out. The important practical catch is the 30m rating: despite the marine theme, it would not be our swimming pick. Buy it because the design makes you happy, and leave the actual water duty to the next watch.

23. A Proper Sports Watch in Deep Pink

Casio G-Shock GLX-S5610-4 | ₹7,995 MRP

G-Shock GLX-S5610-4 with deep-pink square case and strap

The essentials: Shock-resistant construction, digital display, tide graph, moon data, bio-based resin components, 200m water resistance.

The deep pink is excellent. It gives the familiar G-Shock square a much more cheerful look without making it feel any less like a proper sports watch. Casio connects the Hawaiian-flower-inspired colours with surfer Bettylou Sakura Johnson, and the G-LIDE features include tide and moon information alongside the everyday digital functions. Most of us will probably use the timer more often than the tide graph, but it is still a fun extra. More relevant for daily life are the shock resistance and 200m rating. This would be one of our first choices for sport, travel and swimming, especially if the usual black G-Shocks leave you a little cold.

24. The Legacy With the Warm Dial

Timex Trend Legacy TW2V31800UJ | ₹8,046 listed offer

Timex Trend Legacy with warm orange dial, gold-tone fluted bezel and steel bracelet

The essentials: 34mm steel case, mineral glass, quartz movement, gold-tone steel bracelet, 50m water resistance. Specifications. Alternative retailer at ₹8,046.

The warm orange dial, with that slightly brownish look, is what drew us to this Legacy. Against the gold-tone case and fluted bezel, it has that familiar dressy sports-watch appearance, but the colour makes it less predictable than another black or blue version. There is an obvious Rolex-like influence in the styling, although the appeal at this price is simply getting a handsome watch in a colour combination you enjoy. The 34mm steel case is a useful middle ground between the tiny jewellery watches and the larger sportier picks. We would picture it with a plain shirt or darker clothes, where the warmth of the dial can stand out. It looks rather posh for eight thousand rupees.

25. A Beach on the Dial

Casio Sheen SHE-4550D-2A | ₹8,495 MRP

Casio Sheen SHE-4550D-2A with blue gradient wave dial and steel bracelet

The essentials: 32.2mm steel case, 7.6mm thickness, embossed gradient dial, sapphire crystal, steel bracelet, 50m water resistance.

This is one of our favourites in the whole list. The blue gradient and embossed waves give the dial depth, and the small crystal at seven adds a little sparkle without turning every hour marker into an event. Casio has kept the steel case and bracelet fairly straightforward, which is the right decision when the dial is already doing this much. More surprisingly, you get sapphire at ₹8,495, making the practical side quite convincing as well. We would happily start here if you want a dressy everyday watch with a distinctive dial. It has enough going on to be interesting, but it still looks like something you could wear regularly rather than save for an occasion.

26. The Sweet Shop Swatch

Swatch Caramellissima LP135A | ₹8,600 shortlisted price

Swatch Caramellissima LP135A with green dial, pink case and double-wrap bracelet

The essentials: Petite 25mm case, quartz movement, green dial, double-wrap candy-style links, 3-bar water resistance. Official model page.

This looks like something from a sweet shop, and we mean that as a compliment. The green dial, pale pink case and multicoloured bead-like links make it unlike anything else here. The bracelet wraps around twice, so the watch becomes part of the accessory rather than the only thing you notice. It is gloriously unserious, which is refreshing after staring at fifty variations of a fluted bezel. We would buy this for fun, colour and the way it looks with casual clothes, rather than to win an argument about specifications. Check the bracelet size carefully, because Swatch offers different fits. Also, despite appearances, none of the links are edible. Disappointing, but understandable.

27. The Dressy Day-Date

Timex TWEL21401 | ₹8,796 shortlisted offer

Timex TWEL21401 with white dial, rose-gold-tone bracelet and day window

The essentials: 36mm steel case, 10mm thickness, mineral glass, steel bracelet, battery-powered movement, 50m water resistance. Specifications.

The day window across the top of the dial gives this Timex much of its character. Paired with the white face, warm rose-gold finish and Jubilee-style bracelet, it has a familiar, quite dressy appearance that should work nicely with office clothes. At 36mm, it is also a useful option if the smaller jewellery watches feel too delicate for you. We like that it gives you some dial detail without needing a cluster of subdials, and the steel construction is a worthwhile distinction from many of the cheaper Timex options above. This would be a good shortlist candidate for someone who wants a more substantial bracelet watch that still feels polished rather than sporty.

28. The Smaller Pink CasiOak

Casio G-Shock GMA-S2100-4ADR | ₹9,295 MRP

G-Shock GMA-S2100-4ADR with pink octagonal case and analog-digital dial

The essentials: 42.9mm case width, 41g, Carbon Core Guard, mineral glass, world time, timer, alarms, double LED light, 200m water resistance. Specifications.

If you like the CasiOak but find the regular GA-2100 a little too large, this is where to look. The GMA-S2100 keeps the octagonal bezel and clean analog-digital layout in a smaller, lighter package, and the pink finish suits the shape really well. You still get the useful G-Shock features, including shock resistance, world time and a timer, so choosing the colour does not mean giving up the practical bits. At 42.9mm wide it is smaller by G-Shock standards, rather than tiny in absolute terms. Try it if your wrist is particularly small. For someone who wants one fun watch for busy everyday use, this is an easy option to like.

29. The Q Timex in Aquamarine

Q Timex TW2W87800UJ | ₹10,496 shortlisted offer

Q Timex TW2W87800UJ with aquamarine dial and pastel two-tone expansion band

The essentials: 36mm steel case, quartz movement, domed acrylic crystal, day-date display, rotating bezel, Perfect Fit expansion band, 50m water resistance. Specifications.

The colour is what makes this Q. The aquamarine dial, bezel and matching details on the bracelet turn the familiar retro design into something softer and more playful, without losing the bold markers and domed crystal that give the range its character. We particularly like that the colour continues onto the expansion band rather than stopping at the edge of the dial. At 36mm, the case is a promising middle ground, though its 12mm thickness means it is not especially slim. The acrylic crystal is part of the vintage appeal and also the compromise, since it picks up scratches more readily than sapphire. Buy this if the whole look appeals to you; it is a very pretty combination.

30. Flowers, Without the Fuss

Casio Sheen SHE-4539FGM-9A | ₹10,995 MRP

Casio Sheen SHE-4539FGM-9A with floral dial and light-gold mesh bracelet

The essentials: 34mm steel case, 6.4mm thickness, sapphire crystal, gold-tone steel mesh bracelet, date display, 50m water resistance.

Casio has kept the floral idea quite restrained here. The wreath-inspired dial, light yellow-gold finish and mesh bracelet sit in the same colour family, so the watch feels coordinated instead of busy. A single crystal at seven provides a small point of interest, while the rest of the face has room to breathe. We like this for someone who wants a decorative watch but finds the more elaborate Fria designs a bit much. The practical details help justify the price too: sapphire, a thin steel case and an adjustable mesh clasp are all useful things to have. This is one of the more convincing options for wearing regularly with both work clothes and traditional outfits.

31. The Sheen With a Dress-Watch Dial

Casio Sheen SHE-4534PGL-1A | ₹10,995 MRP

Casio Sheen SHE-4534PGL-1A with textured dark dial and leather strap

The essentials: 34mm steel case, 6.2mm thickness, sapphire with anti-reflective coating, leather strap, date display, 50m water resistance. Specifications.

The dial has some of the dressy appeal that makes people spend a long time looking at Seiko Presage watches. That is a comparison about the appearance, to be clear: this is a slim quartz Casio, and the appeal is the textured dark face against the rose-gold-coloured case. The leather strap keeps the whole thing restrained, making it a good alternative to the gold mesh model at the same price. It is also only 27g and 6.2mm thick, which should appeal to anyone who finds steel-bracelet watches cumbersome. Of the dressier options here, this is one we would investigate closely. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating is a welcome bonus alongside the looks.

32. The Swatch That Keeps It Simple

Swatch Gradino YSS300G | ₹13,500 shortlisted price

Swatch Gradino YSS300G with silver sun-brushed dial and polished steel bracelet

The essentials: Petite 25mm case, quartz movement, polished steel construction, sun-brushed dial, three-link bracelet, 3-bar water resistance. Official model page.

After the candy bracelet earlier, this is Swatch behaving itself. The silver sun-brushed dial, black printing and polished steel bracelet make a clean, compact watch that should be easy to wear with most things. It is a good option if you prefer silver jewellery and do not want crystals or a strongly coloured dial. At ₹13,500, though, the Sheen models make a stronger argument on specifications, so this needs to be the design you actually prefer. We would not spend the extra money simply because it says Swatch. We would spend it if the small proportions and straightforward steel finish were exactly what we had been trying to find.

33. Pink Petal Promise

Swatch YLS234 | ₹14,000 shortlisted price

Swatch Pink Petal Promise YLS234 with pink floral dial and matching leather strap

The essentials: 33mm steel case, quartz movement, pink sun-brushed floral dial, leather strap, luminous hour and minute hands, 3-bar water resistance. Official model page.

This is a much softer-looking Swatch than the Gradino. The white floral print across the pink sun-brushed dial gives it a little movement, and the matching pink leather strap keeps the colour theme consistent. The steel bezel, with its engraved markers, provides enough structure around the flowers to stop the watch feeling overly delicate. We like that balance. At 33mm it is also a sensible size for someone who wants to see the design without wearing a very large dial. The price is firmly in “you need to love the look” territory, particularly with the Sheens below it. If you do, this is a pretty alternative to another plain dress watch.

34. The Marlin That Looks Like a Weekend Away

Timex Marlin TW2Y49700UJ | ₹14,495 listed price

Timex Marlin TW2Y49700UJ with green dial, gold-tone case and striped fabric strap

The essentials: 34mm steel case, quartz movement, acrylic crystal, fabric slip-through strap. Specifications.

This looks like a watch you would pack for a holiday and then keep wearing after coming home. The green dial, warm gold-tone case, curved crystal and striped fabric strap make a cheerful combination, with more of a casual Weekender feel than the dressier Marlins we usually discuss. It is quartz, so the Marlin name does not mean you are buying an automatic or hand-wound movement here. At 34mm, the proportions are appealing, and the slip-through strap gives you room to change the look later. ₹14,495 is quite a lot for a simple quartz watch, though. We would buy it because the colours and design keep drawing us back, rather than because the specifications demand it.

35. Cream Dial, Black Leather

Timex Weekender New England TW2Y86600UJ | ₹14,495 shortlisted price

Timex TW2Y86600UJ with cream dial, gold-tone case and black leather strap

The essentials: 34mm brass case, quartz movement, mineral glass, leather slip-through strap, luminous hands, 50m water resistance. Timex India listing.

If the striped Marlin feels a little too playful, this goes in a quieter direction. The cream dial, straightforward numerals, gold-tone case and black leather strap give it a relaxed everyday look, with enough warmth to avoid feeling plain. The 34mm size is appealing, and the slip-through strap makes changing the appearance fairly straightforward. We are less convinced by the price than by the design, especially given the brass case and the excellent cheaper options above. This is one we would try on and compare before paying full price. Timex India’s title calls it a Marlin, while the description identifies it as a Weekender New England, so use the exact reference when shopping.

36. A G-Shock That Can Go to Work

Casio G-Shock GM-S2110-1A7 | ₹14,995 MRP

G-Shock GM-S2110-1A7 with silver textured dial, metal bezel and black resin strap

The essentials: 40.5mm case width, 56g, steel bezel over resin construction, mineral glass, world time, shock resistance, 200m water resistance. Specifications.

The metal bezel and textured silver dial make this a noticeably dressier G-Shock. The octagonal shape is still recognisable, but the monochrome colours let it sit much more easily with a shirt or office clothes than the brightly coloured resin versions. We would call it a good smart-casual option, particularly for someone who dislikes traditional dress watches. It is also smaller than the pink GMA-S2100 above, although the metal adds some weight. Be clear about what the extra money buys: the bezel is steel, while the strap remains resin, and there is no solar charging. You are paying for the finish and the appearance, with the familiar G-Shock practicality underneath.

Two Picks Just Above the Budget

These were in our original shortlist and deserve a mention, but neither qualifies as an under-₹15,000 watch at the prices below. Both depend on finding the specific offer again. If ₹15,000 is a firm limit, there is plenty to choose from above without negotiating with yourself at checkout.

37. Stretch Pick: Citizen Axiom

Citizen GA1055-57F | ₹15,300 shortlisted offer

Citizen Axiom GA1055-57F with black dial and gold-tone steel bracelet

The essentials: 29.5mm steel case, Eco-Drive J015 movement, mineral glass, steel bracelet. Official Indian list price: ₹26,900. Specifications.

The Axiom is for someone who likes a very clean dial. The black face, gold-tone case and edge-to-edge glass give it a sleek appearance, while the compact size keeps it from becoming too showy. Eco-Drive is the more substantial reason to look at this one: it uses light to recharge its internal cell, removing the usual routine of periodic disposable-battery changes. That does not mean the watch has no energy-storage cell or will never need servicing. At the shortlisted ₹15,300, it is a tempting small stretch. Citizen’s own Indian price is much higher, though, so confirm the seller, exact reference and warranty before treating that deal as available.

38. Stretch Pick: CIGA Design Aglaia

CIGA Design D026-GOYE-3GO | Around ₹15,500 with the shortlisted coupon

CIGA Design Aglaia D026-GOYE-3GO with brown dial and rounded rectangular gold-tone case

The essentials: Quartz movement, rounded rectangular case, brown-and-gold colour combination. Collection reference.

The Aglaia earns its place through the shape. The rounded rectangle and brown dial framed in gold give it a sophisticated appearance that is quite different from the round bracelet watches dominating the list. We like the warm colours and the way the case looks closer to a piece of jewellery than a conventional sports watch. This would be an option for someone who has looked through the Casios and Timexes and wants something less familiar. The coupon in our shortlist still left it ₹500 above budget, and we could not independently reproduce that checkout offer. Keep it as an alternative to investigate if the design appeals, rather than a guaranteed deal at this price.

Where We Would Start

For a first everyday watch, the Casio LTP-1302DS would be near the top of our shortlist. The mother-of-pearl dial gives it enough character to stay interesting, while the price leaves you room to buy something else later. The little LTP-V007 is the dressier budget choice, and the Milano is particularly appealing if you want a watch that also feels like jewellery. If sport and swimming are part of the brief, we would go straight to the G-LIDE or smaller CasiOak. There is very little point buying a delicate leather-strapped watch and then worrying about it through every workout.

With a little more to spend, the Sheen SHE-4550D-2A is probably the one we would investigate first. That dial is lovely, the size is sensible and sapphire is a useful extra at the price. The Swatch Caramellissima sits at the other end of the decision: you either want a candy bracelet that tells the time or you do not. We rather like that there is room for both. You do not have to choose the most serious watch you can afford, and having ₹15,000 available does not oblige you to spend all of it.

Before buying, check the exact reference, bracelet fit and seller’s warranty, especially where a discounted price is doing a lot of the work. For water resistance, follow the brand’s guidance for that model rather than treating the number as permission to swim to that depth.
